It took around 20 days to make this tea steaming and drying for 10 days then finally roasted for 10 days. After that, these tangerine stuffed with tea need to be sun dried for 6 months.

How to enjoy this tea?
1. Use hammer to crack the tangerine - be careful.
2. Use one third of tea leaves (you don't need to take tangerine skin out) with 150ml of boiling water and steep for 50 seconds.
3. Add 10-20 seconds for each subsequent brew. It can be brewed for 5-7 times.
Unlike flavoured teas this tea has a strong natural tangerine aroma. You can experience the perfect combination of high mountain oolong and citrus fruit.

The hidden meaning in Mandarin:
Tangerine is pronounced Liu-Ding in Mandarin. Ding in Mandarin means children. Traditionally people have taken the alternative meaning of Ding as a blessing for couples who want to have a baby.

About Tea Master:
The tea master Mr. Yeh, has 30 years experience of tea making. He comes from Alishan, the birthplace of High Mountain Tea in Taiwan. He experimented for three years to develop the unique technique of stuffing tea leaves into fruit skins. This is the traditional way of making tea from Hakka people in China, which can be traced back to Ming dynasty (600 years ago). It is hard to see tangerine oolong tea in Taiwan, due to the difficulties of techniques and the size of tangerine. TeaWon is glad to present this special tea to the UK.

Ingredients:
Hand-picked ChinShin (Green-tip) tea leaves from Alishan in 2016 winter and fully fermented.
Organic tangerine from ChiaYi, the south of Taiwan. One Tangerine High Mountain Oolong tea is about 60-70 grams.

How to keep your tea fresh?
Store in a dry area, need to be exposed under sunshine once a month. The longer you preserved tea, the better taste. After 3-5 years, it can be aged fully. This type of tea is ideal to age and collection for investment purpose.
